In Week 36

This Sunday, I will be in full term (37 weeks). Secretly hoping that bb Zachary will come out end of next week or starting the week after next.
Work wise, more or less hand over to my colleagues already and also had brought a company lappy home. Now is just waiting for the time.

updates on baby

We've decided on his name. We'll be naming him Zachary. Shouldn't have any changes, unless we find a better and more suitable name than this.

Today, we went to my antenatal checkup. Bb Zachary weighs about 2.8kg at 35weeeks now. I did my GBS test also. Hopefully all turn out well. Dr Khi also checked for dilation. Cervix not open yet but is thinning out already. She mentioned that i might deliver 2-3 weeks early. She advise me to admit straight if i feel painful contractions, bloody show or waterbag burst.

Also finally book the tmc's ward and PD already.

My next checkup will be in 2 weeks time. Hopefully will be dilated a bit le.

6 weeks more to go

I'm in office as usual, feeling sleepy as usual.. actually I do not know what to update here. Nothing special going on.

I'm in my 34weeks now and officially 6 weeks to go. God knows when the lil one decides to pop out to this world. I hope it will be soon, but not too soon? At least let me pass my full term mark?

Almost everything is prepared. Necessary stuffs are purchased already. Wonder if I should get a tin of Formula Milk to stand by, in case breastmilk don't come in in time? I'm getting heavier. Getting slow in walking nowadays too. Baby's kicking is getting stronger and harder, making me feel a lil uncomfortable at times. Am also wondering how big is the baby now.

I've finished reading Twilight and New Moon. Thanks Kat for lending me the books. Am now into Eclipse, next will be Breaking Dawn.  I will slowly take my time to read this two books... maybe drag till I give birth, so that I have something to do at home.

S's first day of school

S starts her studying career on Monday. She is attending Nursery 1 at a church kindergarden.
So glad that she enjoys schooling and did well for these 3 days in school.
She just went with the flow. No crying, no finding for Mommy or Daddy, she's very independent.
However, she is very active, hopefully the teachers are able to handle her.

As for baby #3, he is currently growing well in my tummy. He weighs around 2.018kg now on my 32weeks of pregnancy. Dr Khi mentioned that he will be around 3+kg when born, heavier than V and S.

Hubby and me are currently addicted to playing online games, and for the past few days when we are on leaves, our time are mostly spent on the games, especially night time. We can played till wee hours. My dark circles under the eyes are coming back and I need my sleep back. Will be ending my leaves today and going back to work tomorrow. Can't wait for my maternity leaves to start.

Our Weekends

It’s shopping again. We had be shopping for the past few weeks. It’s really tiring for me, told my gynae that my back is aching and she gave me some relief gel.Hope it’s works. 

Saturday, hubby and I went for my regular review and I need to take the Glucose Tolerance Test. Need to fast at 10pm the day before and went to the clinic at 9am. The nurse draw the first tube of blood from my right hand. Gosh, it was kinda painful when the needle poked in.After drawing the first tube of blood, I need to take the glucose. It’s one small bottle and I took 5mins to complete it. It was too sweet for me.I need to wait for another 2 hours before drawing the 2^nd tube of blood on my left hand. Inbetween that, we went for our routine check on the baby by my gynae. Told her that I felt tightening and sometimes cramps, she say so long not consistent, it’s should be fine. Did a scan on the baby, his head turn down already and he is facing in. So can’t capture a nice view of his feature. He is growing well, with an estimated weight of 1.386kg. Gynae mentioned that the placenta is on top and the fluid in the waterbag is enough.Will be seeing my gynae on 3^rd February.  

My lil S fell down on Saturday and had a bad bruise on her knees. This brave girl of mine din cry at all. Then on Sunday, just outside FIL’s house, she trip over Daddy’s shoes and fell on her knees again. The old wound start to bleed again with new scratches on the other side of her knee. This is not all yet. She fell from a chair last night and her lip bleed. Faint. Hope all these are over and she will not hurt herself again. I feel so heartpain for my precious darling. 

Oh ya.. finally bought S her new shoes and Sunday, we went to buy CNY goodies. Suppose to get it next week, but since we are there yesterday for some basic grocery, might as well just buy. Hubby reckons that the packet drinks we bought will not be enough, so might need to get another carton. Also, milk powder for big missy and lil missy. CNY is the time of spending while the kids gain the Ang Baos. Hopefully the coming Cow Year will be a good one for all of us.

Seriously Bored…

Maybe it’s the holiday moods… Maybe it’s the lazy me.Maybe I’m really too free. 

I’m Seriously Bored now and I can’t wait to go home and do what I wanna do at home.Even playing with S will be good for me. 

I’m getting tired these days. Can’t walk for too long. I need to take my  glucose test tomorrow. Wish me well and pass the test.Sometimes can’t wait to get over with the pregnancy and see my lil one out to this world. I have another 12 weeks to go. Arrgghhh.. and one of the week happen to  be CNY.I hate visiting when I’m preggy. The tiredness… and the questions, different people will repeatingly ask.
“Boy or Girl ah?”
“When are you due?”“Aiyo, you still so skinny, must eat more then your baby will be chubby”Duhz… I’m skinny but my baby’s weight is of good weight.  

Still need to get a pair of shoes for S. Maybe tomorrow will bring her to shop for it and we are done with the family CNY clothing shopping. Left only the foods and decoration.Food we intend to buy next weekend. Decoration will have to walk and see what is nice. Luckily this year, we don’t need to queue to change the notes. I changed with my uncle already.  We are slowly packing our stuffs and my helper is cleaning up the house already.  

I had a new haircut, can’t stand my messy hair. Now in a neat bob look. Will post the photos after I upload from my camera.

Clearing some stashes

Also added in it are two brand new crocs girls alice shoes which I recently bought from a spree. The sizes I got are way too big for my girls, therefore selling off is a better choice.

I've ordered from another spree for them, hopefully I can receive them in time for Chinese New Year.

 Recently, I found that I can't walk too long. I will feel strain on my back if I walked too long. Getting in the last trimester will be tiring I guess. Another 2-3 months to see my lil boy. :)

V started school today. As usual, taking school bus to school. Feel that it will be a better choice as I don't really trust my maid to send her to school. I'm worried about the crossing of roads. S will starts school in Feburary but she can't wait, she kept asking me when is she going to school. Thanks Mommy Wendy for the lil school bag for her. She loves it a lot.

Grandma is finally discharged

Phew, it's a blessing. We are all glad that she can be discharged. However, she will still need the oxygen machine at home currently. We really hope she will fully recover soon.

We went to my antenatal checkup last Saturday, the lil one weighs 861grams at 24 weeks. Consider quite big for a 24 week old. We just hope everything will be fine and we can't wait to see him in March '09.

Finally got V's present ready. Now pending my own and hubby's. Oh ya. Thinking of getting a present for my helper too but not sure what to get. Any suggestions?

Updates

Work is hectic these few weeks, partly also I’m also clearing my annual leaves.So please bear with the less frequent of posting here. 

Times are bad recently with lots of retrenchments going around.It’s rather sad to see people losing their job, especially those who really need it to survive.I’m thankful that I’m lucky enough to hang on to my current job.With another mouth to feed next year, it will be bad if I am to lose my job. 

Christmas coming, are you done shopping with your gifts?We are not. I have not made up my mind what I want yet, maybe a new handphone.. but I do not have any model that really attracts me. Hubby’s present, not yet decide what to buy for him also. V’s present, we are still dwelling over whether to get the DS Lite for her. Mom’s present, will be going down to Esprit tonight and get some Tops for her.Maybe a Top for my Brother’s Xmas present also. 

Pregnancy wise, I’m currently in my 24^th week. Everything is going fine and I will be going to my regular review this Saturday.
I wonder how heavy this little rascal is now and also can’t wait to see and carry him. 

Grandma is due to discharge soon. She has been warded for a month plus. Poor her. We hired a maid for her and hopefully the new maid is able to take care of her and don’t give us any problem.

3 posts this week.

It should be consider an achievement for me.. it’s been quite sometime since I post so frequently.Things are going quite well now.  I went to visit my grandma yesterday’s evening and she is recovering well. I guess a few more days and she can be discharge.I met my 2^nd uncle this morning and he asked me to check with my maid agency whether they do have a maid which can cook and take care of my grandma and I think he wants to do a little renovation on the toilet. Currently it’s still the old squatting type and he wants to change it to the seating type, which is better for my grandma also. 

I’m recovering from my cough, at least I can sleep through the night last night, without waking up from coughing. Baby should be growing well, as he has been kicking me regularly.There are still a couple of items we need to get before he is born. Maybe I should put down a baby wish list here (at the side bar maybe).  

Little S is growing up very fast. Recently she keeps singing nursery rhymes and also started drawings. She loves to draw faces. I have one picture in my handphone, but not yet uploaded. Will upload it here once I upload it to my computer. She also keep sticking to me these days, telling  me not to go to work and accompany her, says Mommy is hers only, not didi’s. I guess she is beginning to sense that there will be a little one who will share her Mommy with her soon. 

For V, she is having her holiday. This girl keep saying she has nothing to do at home, despite having assessment books to do, P2 books to revise, PSP to play, computer to play. She also did painting at times and also play some board games and cards games with our helper. Her good friend, keep phoning her everyday and my mom said that she is on the phone most of the time. This is no good. I’m going to restrict her a bit.

We are having a hard time choosing names for our baby boy...
Thought of a few but none seems to capture our hearts.
Would appreciate recommendations of names both Christain and Chinese. :)

Updates

Some updates here on happenings at home… 

- S went for her orientation last Saturday, all went well and she is very keen to go to school and did not want to come home with us.
- V had her birthday party with her friends over. The kids had fun. Thanks for all the gifts and time for attending the birthday party.
- Grandma got admitted to hospital, this time round is quite serious. She needs the breathing mask to support her breathing. Hope she will recover soon.
- Detailed scan for bb went well. He is very cooperative, all measurements done in 10 mins. He weighs around 353g now at wk20.
- Next few days will be going to n fro visiting my grandma. Really heartpain to see her like this. (will not elaborate more here, too tired to do so)

Exams Over!

Actually it’s over since last Thursday. V got back her results already and surprisingly, she did much much better this time round, even though there is no help from tution teacher.I’m pleased with her results and yup, there is still rooms for improvements.This morning she is asking me to bring her to the bookshop to get P2 assessment books for her to do during the holidays. Glad she wants to improve herself. Great work, my girl! 

November will be a busy month for us. Lots of birthday and our car’s annual inspection and insurance payment.This coming Saturday, we will be celebrating my grandma’s birthday at her house. We will be having steamboat! Yummy! Next Thursday is my birthday and on the 12^th will be V’s birthday. However, we will be celebrating V’s birthday earlier, on the 8^th. She is very excited about it. She is inviting her friends over and I’m sure she will be having fun. I just hope I will not be too tired on that day.S will be having her school orientation on the 8^th also. She too is excited about going to school. She longs for it actually. So glad to see her grown up, crossing the milestone of attending school soon. 

I will be having my detailed scanning on 2 weeks later, hopefully everything turn out fine. Oh.. sorry for not posting photos for so long, am lazy la… I have not upload the photos to my lappy yet. Will do so soon. Take Care everyone!

We are expecting....

a baby boy this time.

We went for our antenatal checkup today and baby is in the right position to scan for his gender. We saw something pointing out and Dr Khi confirmed that it's a boy.

I'll be going for my detailed scan next month. Hopefully everything will be fine.

Baby Movement

I can feel it! Started to feel it on Wednesday. This little rascal is active during 10am.
Oh, I brought forward my appointment to next Tuesday instead of Saturday. Can’t wait to see the little one.

V will be having her exams next week. Hopefully she can cope with it. No high hopes, just hope that she can pass.
S is getting cranky these days. Last night din want to sleep and later want me to sleep with her. I sneaked back to my room after she fell asleep.
Early this morning, she come into my room whining again. Don’t know what’s wrong with her. Haiz.

Updates + a layout - Warning, long post

This will be a long post, sorry for my long-windedness. 

Ok, I'm on 3 days leaves, given by my gynae. I nearly blackout on Sunday morning, luckily I was sitting down a chair, or who knows what will happen. Everything in front of me is blur and black, voices I hear become blur also. Luckily my mom and hubby were there, mom immediately gave me some sweets and I quickly drank some milo. I feel better after a few minutes. Gynae wants me to rest well, also asked me not to carry S too often. I shall listen to her and rest well.

Yesterday went for the NT Scan, everything is ok, normal, no risk. Baby is very active, keep moving during the scan. Hubby later asked Gynae to check for gender, the baby position is not very good, so we can view his buttock clearly, we saw something inbetween his legs, but due to his position, it's not very clear, just saw two round balls and something pointing, that's all. Gynae say, she do not want to confirm anything yet, thou good chance that it's a boy. We shall wait one month later to confirm everything. For us, we do not put high hopes yet also. If it's a boy, it's a blessing and our wish come true.

We selected a maid on Sunday, yes the day I nearly faint. We wanted to get a new maid, but the bio-data is not a lot, and there is this transfer maid at the agency, who stood up immediately to offer her seat to my mom and played with the girls when we stepped in the agency. She looks quite pleasant and can speak english. I took an interest on her and ask the in-charge about her. Well.. I shall not say what she told me, cos it might not be that true after all. I just felt that she has the initative and my kids can get along with her, can speak english, so just give her a chance to prove herself with me. We got her. If everything turns out right, she will be joining our house on Thursday.

I've also confirmed S's school. It will be Zion Bishan Kindergarden, as they have a vacancy for morning slot, which is what we wanted.  Good news for us.

V will be having her exams soon, today having her oral tests.

And lastly, I scrapped on yesterday morning. I woke up at 6am and can't get back to sleep. So using the September Studio Calico's kit, I scrapped this:

Still Alive and Kicking

Sorry for not blogging so frequently. I'm really tire out after the end of each day, also I do not know what to write.

She was the flower girl for my cousin, J's wedding. I'm so glad she did such a great job. Will post photos after I got them from the photographer.

S:
This little one is getting very mischievious. She has her very own character and is very independent. These few days, she is suffering from a cold, along with my mom. Poor girl, having blocked nose all the time. Hope she will recover soon.

For myself, I've not been scrapping, although I often wish I am. No mojo at all, so I better take a break. The little one in me should be doing fine. My next checkup is only next week, along with the NT Scan. Hopefully everything turn out fine.
