Altered Letters

Recently, our office had held a Charity Event to raise fund for the Japan's misfortune.
A few crafters in our company contribute by putting up crafts for sales and all proceeds are donated to the Japan Red Cross Society.
Me contribute by doing up some Altered Letters, notebooks and cards.
Here's are some pictures of the stuffs I did.

{Just Us}

Just finished this layout. Started this layout yesterday actually and just finished adding some touch to it.
Got the inspiration of this layout from Leena and Christine Middlecamp.



Supplies Used:
PP - Pink Paislee
Bling - Swarovski Crystals
Shear - Maya Road
Rubon - 7G
Stickers - Heidi Swapp, Doodlebug, Ek Success
CS - Bazzill
Expoxy - Making Memories.

On this layout, I added Swarovski crystals on the Pink Paislee tree, so that it will add some dimension to it. For the 7G's rubon, I rubon on a transparency and overlay on the photo and PPs, on top of it, I overlay the Maya Road Shear Tag on it and sticked the stickers on it. I wanted it to be more dimensional, so added the expoxy tag on it.

I love this picture of us, it's so rare that we took a photo together. Our 7th wedding anniversary is coming soon and this layout is dedicated to him. Hope he will likes this layout.

Pencil Line Sketch 81

Been quite sometimes since I last scrap using pencil line skteches. Saw this sketch that I like, so I decided to give a go on it.

Sorry for the poor picture quality. Lighting is not enough, or I should say I'm lazy to get a nice picture. :p

Oh, I'm starting to feel I'm getting too skinny. I need to gain some weight and grow some fats. I'm finding it difficult to buy clothes. Sometimes, even S size is too big for me. Can recommend some ways to gain weight? Thanks in advance

Our weekend

Weekend last week is quite boring as hubby had to rush a presentation which he will be having today. Basically he was in front of his laptop, doing up his presentation most of the time.
On Saturday, I received a call from my Grandma, she mentioned that my 3rd uncle is feeling very uncomfortable and yet do not want to visit the doctor. She asked me over to persuade him to see a doc. My mom with the girls went over with me. At first he still say he is ok, just stomach bloated. I went back home to get gastric pills and eno for him. Later he told me that his kidney is painful. I told him, we must go to the hospital, so I called hubby and he drove over and picked us up to TTSH. We reached there around 9+ and wait 2 hours before we get to see a doctor. Doc suspects it's kidney stones so he need to be kept at the observation room till 1am. I told the nurse, I'm going out for my dinner first then going back home. If he can be discharge, just give me a call and I'll come down to fetch him. True enough, I received the call at 1am from the doc. We went down and fetch him back. By the time we reached home, it was 2 plus, 3am. So tired by then.

Sunday morning, we went for our breakfast at Cursurina Prata House (hope I got the name spelt correctly). Then we went to Upper Pierce  Reservoir for a short walk. I like going there, I love the sun, the peacefulness there. Took some pix using my handphone and hubby's handphone and this is one pix I like best.

I managed to scrap a page when S was having her afternoon nap yesterday.






This layout is done because of V's passion on Gelare.

Crafting Night

Today is a productive night. I did a simple layout and also altered another frame.
As Mother's Day is coming, I did a frame for this day.

Did this Altered Shadow Box this evening while coaching V on her homework. Kinda inspired by IG. I met her at Laine's last Friday and she actually encourage me to start selling my crafts at Etsy. Thanks IG.
Finally used up my SOMO stash on this project.

This is what I'm doing for the past few hours. Waiting for the paint to dry up, then embellished it, stamp and color the houses. Kinda like this. I hope you like this too.

Altered Notebook

Price: SGD$15

A simple notebook which I did just now. It's kinda the same as the one I'm carrying myself, just that for mine, I used binder ring while I used graffer tape for this one.
I'm in the midst of trying something new also. Waiting for the paint to dry up while I'm posting this. Kekeke.

Finally, personalized notebook

I saw this clip at Photojojo on how to bind your own books at Brenda's blog. Kinda inspired by this and decided to try it out long ago. But like what I said in the previous posts, I'm procastinating... Today, I finally got my hands down and did it. Love the end result of it.









Can't wait to do more of this. It's addictive. :)
