Happy Lunar New Year!

Today is the Lunar New Year, aka Chinese New Year. Here I wish you all prosperity, good health, wealth for the whole year. Gong Xi Fa Cai!

Basically for the whole of yesterday and today, we are very busy. Yesterday we were busy helping my Grandma to prepare to pray for our ancestors. After that, Mommy and me were busy preparing for our reunion dinner and ironing the new clothes we got for this New Year.

SIL, her hubby and our newphew came over for dinner too. Little Ron has grown chubbier.

After dinner, we stayed at home and watch tv. Hubby and me also prepared the red packets (ang baos) for the children and elders. I slept around 1am. So tired.

We woke up early in the morning, everyone bathed and changed into their new clothings. We went over to FIL's house first, then to hubby's grandma house. S fell asleep in the car when we are on the way over to granny's house. She slept for one hour before waking up and played with her aunts there.
We left at around 1.30pm to my Grandma's place. The girls are so excited to go there, cos they can play with their cousins there.

Till Later....

I love to hear about the customs for Chinese New Year. The food looks delicious--you must have been cooking all day! Gong Xi Fa Cai!
